The Allen-Bradley 1746-OA8 AC Output Module is a general purpose 120/240VAC module containing 8 outputs. Terminals have self-lifting pressure plates that accept two 14 AWG (2mm2) wires. LED indicators on the front of each module display the status of each I/O point. Surge current per point repeatability is once every 1s @ 86°F. To limit the effects of leakage current through solid-state outputs, a loading resistor can be connected in parallel with the load. For 120VAC operation, use a 15kΩ, 2W resistor. For 240VAC operation, use a 15kΩ, 5W resistor.
