The GE-Emerson IC693BEM321 I/O Interface Master Module allows a Series 90-30 PLC to act as a master on a proprietary Fanuc I/O LINK. The Fanuc I/O LINK is a serial interface that provides a high-speed exchange of I/O data between the master and up to 16 slaves. The master can receive 1024 discrete inputs from slaves, and send up to 1024 discrete outputs.
