Remanufactured GE-Emerson IC697ACC702 Series 90-70 I/O Bus Terminator Plug

The GE-Emerson IC697ACC702 Series 90-70 I/O Bus Terminator Plug is only required in the final bus receiver module in the chain. Depending on user preference, if the end of the chain does not include a bus expansion module, the plug may be discarded or saved as extra. A terminator plug is required if the end of the chain includes a bus receiver module.

The plug should be installed in the lower expansion port labeled Expansion Port Out. The plug can then be attached by installing the resistor pack located inside the terminator plug. A special I/O cable is required for a hot standby CPU redundancy system. This includes a built-in termination system. 

When installing the plug, the user must make sure the power to the unit is off and proper guidelines are followed. The plug's middle LED indicates the presence of a terminator plug on compatible models.
