The GE-Emerson IC660TBA021 Genius Terminal Assembly is an RTD I/O block designed to operate with 24/48 Volts DC. It features a total of 6 RTD input circuits, which are further divided into 3 separate and independent groups, each containing 2 input circuits. 

The module supports three types of RTDs: nickel, copper, and platinum. The input from these RTDs undergoes linearization, which varies depending on the specific type of RTD used. The temperature inputs provided to the system CPU are reported in engineering units, presented in tenths of degrees Celsius or degrees Fahrenheit, and tenths of ohms or counts.

The IC660BBA021 terminal base assembly offers additional configurable features, such as RTD resistance, input filter time, and the alphatype feature. This factory-calibrated terminal base does not require field calibration. The module is equipped with automatic diagnostics capable of reporting multiple faults, including input shorts, external faults, wiring errors, open wires, and high/low input alarms.
