Description

The Allen-Bradley 1762-L40BXB MicroLogix 1200 Programmable Controller Processor is able to modify data or simulate analog data via integrated trimmer potentiometers, which can be used as a timer, counter, or analog simulation register. A small, precision, flathead screwdriver is typically required to modify the potentiometer value. An integrated memory module is provided, which can be replaced by the 1762-MM1. A Real-Time Clock is sometimes required in timestamp-vital applications, and can be purchased separately. User programs are stored on the memory module, preventing user program deletion. An RS232 terminal, supporting ASCII, DH485, MODBUS, and DF1 communication protocols, is used to upload and download the user program and monitor, test, and commission the controller.
