The GE-Emerson IC220MDL642 VersaPoint Positive Logic Input Module is used to accept 24VDC digital input signals. The module requires one terminal strip, sold separately. Up to four digital sensors may be connected, and the module allows the connection of 2- and 3-wire sensors. Diagnostic and status indicators are included. To provide electrical isolation between the logic level and the I/O area it is necessary to supply the bus module and the discrete input module using separate power supply units. Interconnection of the 24V power supplies is not allowed.
