The GE-Emerson IC695ALG608 PACSystems RX3i Analog Input Module is an analog input module that can offer a maximum of eight (8) input channels when set up for single-ended wiring, and four (4) input channels when configured for differential input wiring. The IC695ALG608 is installed to an RX3i universal backplane and occupies a solitary slot within the rack. Its power consumption is capped at a maximum of 330 mA when supplied at 5.0V (+5% / -2.5%) and 600 mA when powered at 3.3V (+5% / -3%).

This module is designed for use in conjunction with an RX3i Central Processing Unit (CPU) running firmware version 3.0 or later. Configuration is carried out using Machine Edition version 5.0 SP3 and later. For each input channel, there are filter options available, including 8Hz, 12Hz, 16Hz, 40Hz, 200Hz, and 500Hz. These filters are primarily employed to standardize analog readings and mitigate rapid fluctuations.

The IC695ALG608 is designed to be used with various terminal block options, including Box-style (IC694TBB032), Extended Box-style (IC694TBB132), Spring-style (IC694TBS032), or Extended Spring-style (IC694TBS132) terminal blocks. Unlike utilizing external jumpers to configure module operation, this module employs software-configurable parameters to define its parameters. Moreover, it encompasses significant features like full autocalibration, onboard error checking, open circuit detection, alarm configurations, module fault reporting, interrupts for channel alarms and faults, alongside other equally noteworthy functionalities.
