The Allen-Bradley 1756-DNB ControlLogix DeviceNet Scanner Communication Module is a bridge type module that fits any slot of a ControlLogix chassis, collects data from DeviceNet modules and delivers a copy of the data to a controller, and vice versa. The module includes DeviceNet node addresses 00 to 63, with the latter set as the default. The 1756-DNB is only compatible with the Logix5550 controller. 

The module communicates in diagnostic tables, inputs, and outputs with a controller. The module communicates using strobe, poll, cyclic messages, and/or change of state with another device. The module can be used together with the RSNetWorx.
