Description

The Allen-Bradley 1762-OF4 MicroLogix 1200 Analog Output Module is designed to mount to a well-grounded surface, such as a metal panel, with no extra grounding connections required from the mounting tabs or DIN rail. The module provides analog output signals used to drive valves, VFDs, dampers, louvers, and other modulating control elements. The module can also re-transmit to indicators, data loggers, isolators, and converters.

The module converts binary data from the CPU to analog signal via an internal Digital to Analog Circuit (DAC) with R-2R Ladder Voltage Switching. The module may assist in implementing automatic control of devices by being assigned as the output of a Proportional +Integral +Derivative (PID) controller. It may also be connected via HMI or SCADA to manual entry values such as manual loading stations.
